Pakistan defeated the Netherlands by nine runs in the third one-day match after a tight contest. Pakistan swept the host team by winning all three matches of the three-match ODI series.
Batting first, Pakistan set a target of 207 runs in pursuit of which the Netherlands team fought well but could not finish it and were bowled out for a total of 197 runs. Tom Cooper scored 62 while Vikramjit Singh scored 50 for Netherlands.
On behalf of the Green Shirts, Naseem Shah bowled devastatingly and guided five players to the pavilion. Mohammad Wasim also bowled brilliantly and took four catches.
Earlier, Pakistan team scored 206 runs in 50 overs and got all out. National team captain Babar Azam was a victim of nervous nineties and returned to the pavilion after scoring 91 runs. Apart from them, Mohammad Nawaz 27, Fakhar Zaman 26 and Agha Salman 24 were the other prominent batsmen. On behalf of Green Caps, debutant Abdullah Shafiq scored 2, Khushdil Shah 2, Mohammad Haris 4 and Mohammad Wasim scored 11 runs. Boss Day Lady from Netherlands took 3 wickets and Vuyan Kangma got 2 outs. While Aryan Dutt, Sharaz Ahmed and Logan Van Beek got one wicket each.
